Hi, my name is Dan Chiz and I have an addiction to wearing my sunglasses. The easiest way to my heart is through a pair of aviators (specifically Ray Bans or Marc Jacobs if you really make it happen). Needless to say, I take every opportunity to wear them.
Seriously, I even wear sunglasses indoors and sometimes at night. Yes, I know that can definitely be considered douchey. I just love wearing my sunglasses and for that I am not sorry. Which is why I still want to continue wearing them as we approach winter.
In past, when I have worn sunglasses in the winter months, I have been called a douche. I don’t understand why? The sun in still out. It’s not like it goes into hibernation for the winter. Technically, we are the closest to the sun in the winter so the rays are the strongest. Plus, with all sunlight reflecting off the white snow (but, really sludge), it hurts my eyes enough that I have to squint. I don’t know about you but when I squint, I can’t see fully so I am more likely to walk into something or someone. (Maybe fall down a manhole that are on just about every street in NY.)
Clearly, I need my sunglasses to survive even the basic task of walking. So, my question for you:
