Every year I never make any resolutions; not that I do not want to, I just do not ever think of any.
This year, I am changing my yearly trend. I am going to have a few resolutions too! Let’s see if I can make them all a reality.
1. To actually have a salary.
I have been working for too long for free or for little money. I have a ton of student loans and I have a way to pay them back.
2. Dress to impress everyday.
I already recently started to do this, but I want to actually follow through. I not only want to perpetrate a mature, well-groomed image, I want to feel good about going out in public. I always want to look my best.
3. Get over my fear of sweatpants.
I knew this day would eventually have to come, but I need to embrace sweatpants. I have never actually needed to wear them, but recently, I have been freezing my butt off while going to gym in shorts. It’s time to do what pains me the most and buy sweatpants. Of course I am going to make sure they are a skinnier fit so I do not look like I am swimming in my own clothing or look like I am auditioning to be the next Santa.
4. Save my money so I can move to NYC permanently.
I am the worst at saving money because I am shopping addict. I see something I like, I just buy it without thinking. But, I need to change my ways and save so I can get the heck out of my parents’ house. Living here 7 months is already long enough.
5. Do not go searching for a relationship.
I always look to find a boyfriend, but I need to sit back and let things unfold as they will. Things will happen for a reason.
6. Continue to eat healthy and exercise regularly.
I have been doing a great job at maintaining my body for the past year. It is time to make sure I do not fall off track.
I really hope I can pull through on these resolutions. They seem easy enough if I put my mind to it. Let’s see how 2011 plays out. If it is anything like 2010, I am in for an AMAZING year.
