On October 8, at Florence’s Opera Theater the movie “Inferno”, starring Tom Hanks and directed by Ron Howard, will premiere worldwide. The film, based on the best selling novel by Dan Brown, was shot between Istanbul, Venice and Florence. Tom Hank’s character, Robert Langdon awakens in a hospital room in Florence, Italy, with no memory of what has transpired over the last few days. He suddenly finds himself, once again, the target of a major manhunt. The thriller begins.
When I think of thrillers, I think of old black & white movies like “Psycho.” I wanted to create a look that is simple (like the time of old thrillers), keep the black & white motif and shows off a bit of fun. This white t-shirt and black denim is just the thing.
Love the book? Can’t wait for the movie? Want to learn more? Well, Lungarno Collection has created a private 3-hr tour of Florence, visiting the places depicted in the book. The itinerary details are top secret, but Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and Dante’s home are, obviously, on the schedule. You can enjoy two nights in one of the Lungarno Collection hotels of Florence, with buffet breakfast, free admission to the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum and a copy of Dan Brown’s best seller with this incredible package.
