It’s the time of the year where I play my least favorite game: “How deep is that slush puddle?” You don’t fully understand how horrible this game is until you are ankle deep in a brown, slushy, icy water. Your shoes are ruined. Your feet are soaked. The smell that will develop will haunt your dreams. Your week will be ruined. But, there’s ways to get around losing. Literally, get around. The best way to play is to follow others’ footsteps. The path usually leads to success. I am all for being a leader and creating your own way, but in this game, it’s best to follow others. I repeat. Follow others. You won’t regret it. Your dry feet will thank you.
