So that holiday is coming up where you celebrate your love with your signif other. Well, I don’t have a signif other but that doesn’t mean I’m going to sit home alone, stuff my face with pizza and watch Netflix. Wait, that actually sounds enjoyable…
But what’s the point of having a BFF if you both can’t just go out and have some fun? Since Kristin and I are biffles, we’re letting you know how to celebrate your best friendship on V-Day with some outfit inspo from
Since you’re chilling with your bestie, there’s no need to get all fancy. You want to be casual, yet put together. And, why not let a little pink and red into your look for some “holiday” fun. I chose a polka-dot white shirt because it elevated that crisp, white classic shirt. I paired the shirt with a red and pink striped tie for dual prints within the look and to keep the V-Day theme. I topped it off with a little edgy leather jacket that fits me like a glove. #blessed
Valentine’s Day falls on a Saturday this year so why not make this best friend date a full day event? Start out with a brunch at one of my favorite brunch spots: Agave. The food is great because it has a Mexican flair to the menu and you can get bottomless margaritas. Yes, please! Then head over to SoHo to go shopping while you’re downtown. You can even hit up Express and get my look!
One of my favorite early evening spots for a quick drink is the Biergarten at The Standard Hotel. It’s a cute atmosphere that is always a good time. And since you’re right by the High Line, go for a walk. The High Line is one of my favorite places in NYC. The views are spectacular and it’s the perfect backdrop for the #selfie with your bestie.
Then end your night at a dinner at Trestle on Tenth. It’s a small place with a bang of a menu. They have some funky drinks to enjoy. I suggest getting a different one after you finish your first.
And since you want to show your bestie how much they mean to you, here is some gift inspiration from
